The World's Highest Gig

The world's highest gig!

After (unofficially at this time) setting the World Record for the World's Longest Gig, next week Jason embarks on the ultimate challenge of the World's Highest Gig on the top of Mount Everest of all places!

The trek is all for a charity called The Nepal Balbalika Trust (balbalika means children in Nepalese) and if you like to sponsor Jason on his trek, head to www.justgiving.com/jasons-trek. Rather than explain anything, here's some words from the man himself, over to you Jason!!

By donating on line, not only am I saving paper but the Government will add 28% of what you donate onto your donation. This is called Gift Aid. Its great. The Government are actually doing something good for a change!

The cause for the trip is to perform the Worlds Highest Gig to raise money for the children of Nepal. The Charity I work for are building and eco-shelter for children at risk in Nepal. It will power itself and feed itself from the land around it. Isn't that fantastic!

Giving these kids the opportunity to learn and to live in a self-sustainable and self-sufficent way means that once the shelter is built we can move onto the next shelter.

A week to go and then it gets very cold for me. I am prepared, I hope, so I should be faring well.

If you want to take a look and learn a bit more about the charity and the Worlds Highest Gig, take a look at www.worldshighestgig.com

Cheers,

J

Good luck Jase!!
