Thrifty van Rental

Thrifty van Rental! Just great!

Hi there,

I recently borrowed a van from your Feltham branch (it was a white one) and the chap who took care of us was brilliant! I believe his name was Colin. I think you should give Colin a big pat on the back! Seriously!

However, I do have a problem. The old adage states that if you are treated well, you'll tell five people, and if you are treated poorly, you'll tell nine. Well, clearly I was treated very well (thanks again Colin!), and am now obliged to tell five people (I have no problems with this).

So far, I have told three but I'm concerned that if I tell Paul and Wendy as well, they will instantly call you up and book a van, and I didn't see five vans when I picked my one up. So I'm worried that because you won't have enough vans, they won't be able to borrow one, they'll get annoyed and they'll tell nine people! This seems very harsh. So now I'm risking giving you two extra customers, or losing you 20 potential customers (Paul, Wendy and the nine that they'll tell)!

The other problem I have is I actually want to tell another three people as I think they'll be moving house as well and I reckon they should borrow a van from you.

So, I'm looking for some guidance here, I really want to tell Paul and Wendy and wouldn't mind telling three others as well, would that be ok with you? If it's a problem, I can just tell Paul and Wendy and maybe hand a piece of paper with your number on it to the other three? Or I could ask Paul or Wendy to tell the other three for me, but that would eat into their allowance, so I'd rather not do that.

Anyway, Colin was brilliant, the van was excellent and hopefully another three vans will soon be hired by my buddies and we'll see what we can do about the others.

Keep up the marvellous work!!

Vince.
